FAIRFAX, Va. – A world-class program featuring speakers, researchers, exhibitors and industry experts from across the globe has been announced for PestWorld East 2025. Held April 15-16 at the W Dubai - The Palm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, PestWorld East is organized by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) in partnership with Ecovar, the leading supplier of pest management solutions.
The event aims to unite pest professionals from around the world, with particular focus on participants from the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and India.
The program focuses on emerging technologies, sustainable practices and region-specific solutions. Speakers include Dr. Faith Oi from the University of Florida, who will provide an update on termite management. Dr. Chow-Yang Lee from the University of California Riverside will present the latest research on cockroach control, while the public health crisis of urban rodent infestations and prevention strategies will be addressed by Dr. Claudia Riegel from the City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board.
Taking place before the main event on April 14, is the Global Pest Management Coalition (GPMC) meeting. Those interested in learning more about its activities are welcome to attend. In addition, on the second day of PestWorld East, there will be an update on GPMC activities.
