Pest Management Foundation Announces Phil Gregory Scholarship

The Phil Gregory Scholarship for Young Pest Management Professionals was created to support students who seek to join the pest management industry.


FAIRFAX, Va. - The Pest Management Foundation has announced a new addition to its growing list of student scholarships. The Phil Gregory Scholarship for Young Pest Management Professionals was created to support students who seek to join the pest management industry. 

“I am honored to be able to encourage and inspire the younger generation who are so eager to learn and advance their careers in a field that I have enjoyed being a part of for over fifty years.” said Phil Gregory, Founder and former CEO of Gregory Pest Solutions in Greenville, SC. Gregory is also a past president of the National Pest Management Association and was awarded lifetime membership in the organization in recognition of his contributions to the industry.

Eligibility for the Phil Gregory Scholarship for Young Pest Management Professionals scholarship includes the following criteria:
• Full time student in good academic standing with a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Priority given to those whose families serve in the pest control industry.
• Undergraduate or graduate student whose studies focus on urban entomology, rodentology, or biological sciences. 

First announced at PestWorld 2022 in Boston, the Foundation’s scholarship program allows individuals, companies, or organizations to establish a named scholarship with criteria determined by the donor. The minimum gift to establish a Foundation scholarship is $25,000 and gifts may be paid all at once, or over a five-year period.
