COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Pest Management Association (OPMA) held its annual winter meeting, Dec. 11-13, in Columbus, Ohio. Attendees earned continuing education credits in training sessions and vendors showcased the latest pest control products and technologies in the exhibit hall during the three-day meeting.
One highlight from the meeting was the OPMA officer induction. The OPMA Executive Board includes:
President: Andrew “AJ” Alonso, Columbus Pest Control
Vice President: Cory Phillips, Capital City Exterminating
Secretary/Treasurer Chris Wible, Rentokil/Terminix
Past President: William “BJ” Gall, Frame’s Pest Control
The Ohio Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) chapter also held several networking events during the meeting. The chapter hosted NPMA President Faye Golden, where she discussed NPMA resources available to association members. She also gave a regulatory update with an emphasis on rodenticides.
The chapter also held their second annual Mixer with PetVets.
