ATLANTA — Orkin recently partnered with the American Red Cross and raised $250,000 to support the work of the organization through Orkin's 2024 Mosquitoes Don't Deserve a Drop campaign.
Orkin donated $25 to the Red Cross for every new customer who signed up for mosquito service in May and June.
In addition to the financial contribution, Orkin encouraged employees and the public to donate blood. Blood drives were hosted in Dallas, Texas, Atlanta, Ga., and Los Angeles, Calif., and partnered with the Red Cross’ BloodLink program to allow donors nationwide to support this effort.
Through these combined efforts, 219 units of blood were collected, potentially saving up to 657 lives. Since 2020, Orkin has donated $620,000 to the American Red Cross.
