LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — Parkway Exterminating, based in New Hyde Park, N.Y., has been approved for bedbugFREE membership. Parkway represents the first pest management firm of New York to commit to the guidelines and practices of Bed Bug Central.
Parkway has serviced New York, New Jersey and Connecticut since 1932. The family-owned company has maintained superior quality service by employing entomologists, agronomist, and certified wildlife experts. Parkway also ensures that technicians are educated on the latest research and management methods for pest and bed bug removal.
“Being part of bedbugFREE affords Parkway the availability to information, the university studies and the latest technology and products in the field of bedbug control,” said Peter Scala, entomologist and owner of Parkway Exterminating. “It also provides for a systematic and standardized approach to the control of bedbugs.”
bedbugFREE is a network of “like-minded companies sharing the philosophies of Bed Bug Central.” All companies undergo a rigorous screening process overseen by Rick Cooper and research entomologist, Jeff White. Approved companies are then listed as a bedbugFREE on Bed Bug Centrals’ website and in turn receive referrals as part of the bedbugFREE network. To date, the approval process and all business leads provided by Bed Bug Central are free of charge.
