Indiana Service Professional Wins PCT’s Annual Photo Contest

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio – PCT announced that Dylan Miller of Affordable Termite & Pest Control, Bloomington, Ind., was the winner of our annual photo contest with his entry of a Brood X periodical cicada. 

 

Miller encountered the cicada on a tree branch outside of a client’s open window. “The client’s open window with the blue painted walls set this cicada up for a perfect backdrop,” said Miller, who captured the photo on an iPhone 10. “I like the level of contrast and the level of focus and detail it created with the subject.”

 

Celebrating his first full year in the industry in May, Miller enjoys working as service professional because of all the different people and places work takes him, which “gives me time to take a minute to enjoy the beauty of nature and capture shots of all the cool insects that most people never take the time to stop and look at,” he said.
