PestSure Holds Annual Safety and Loss Prevention Conference

DALLAS – In the 50 years since the Bureau of Labor Statistics has tracked workplace injuries, the incidence rate has fallen 75 percent. That steep drop is credited to greater awareness, education and training of employees on how workers can safely perform their jobs.
 
Leading the drive for safety in the pest management industry is PestSure, an insurance provider dedicated to and owned by pest control professionals. To further the pursuit of creating an industry-wide culture of safety, the insureds of PestSure gathered in Clearwater, Florida October 5-6 for the insurance captive’s annual Safety and Loss Prevention Conference. 
 
The two-day event drew more than 100 pest management professionals looking to learn and share safety and risk management best practices. Attendees participated in multiple sessions focused on safer fleet management, improving safety culture, the cryptic world of experience modifiers and how to navigate the changing insurance marketplace.
