Five Scholarships Available from Pi Chi Omega

Pi Chi Omega is now accepting applications for scholarships to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in urban and industrial pest management.


FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Pi Chi Omega, the national fraternity for pest control professionals, is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for scholarships being offered to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in urban and industrial pest management.  A total of $11,000 will be awarded through 5 scholarships by May 30, 2021. 

“The Scholarship Program helps fulfill our mission to connect and enrich the urban pest management industry,” says Mark Sheperdigian, Pi Chi Omega President. “Our Industry is enriched by the knowledge gained and research conducted by each of the students we support, and many remain connected to Pi Chi Omega by becoming professors or industry professionals.”

 
The scholarships, named in honor of Pi Chi Omega members, have supported 140 students through $219,000 in scholarships, to date.
• Dr. John Osmun Scholarship $3,000
• Founder’s Endowment Scholarship $2,000
• Alain VanRyckeghem Memorial Scholarship $2,000
• Dr. Austin Frishman Scholarship $2,000
• Norm Ehmann Scholarship $2,000 (available through 2029)
 
Pi Chi Omega awards annual scholarships through a competitive application and review process. Application packages are available online by visiting www.pichiomega.org or by e-mailing office@pichiomega.org.  Complete applications are due to Pi Chi Omega by March 15, 2021.
