GREENVILLE, Pa. – Plunkett’s Pest Control, acquired Mission Pest Management, a Greenville, Pa-based pest control company that provides full-service pest control services in the surrounding areas of Greenville, Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
Mission Pest Management was founded in 2010 by Mark and Terri Hoffacker, who supported both national and international missions through volunteering and fundraising efforts.
Mark, who's spent 33 years in the pest industry, will take on a new role as supervisor at Plunkett's.
Terri managed the administrative tasks that kept the company running smoothly. As part of the transition to Plunkett's Pest Control, Terri will temporarily join their team in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
She is anticipating her retirement and spending more time with their four children and soon-to-be four grandchildren.
"As we contemplated selling our business, it was important to us that our customers continued to experience the same values and family-oriented atmosphere that has been a cornerstone of our company," said Mark. " We were thrilled to discover a like-minded company that shared our values and commitment to providing exceptional service. I am excited to join the Plunkett's team, return to the field, and work together to explore new opportunities."
This acquisition merges two privately-owned pest control companies and expands Plunkett’s service capabilities in the greater Greenville and Pittsburgh areas.
“We are excited to welcome Mission Pest Management to the Plunkett’s Pest Control team," said Aly Silva-Mulgrew, president of Plunkett’s. "Mark Hoffacker has a great reputation for providing quality pest control services to his customers, and we are happy to have him on board.”
The Aust Group represented Mission Pest Management as the exclusive financial advisor on this transaction.
