FRIDLEY, Minn. - Plunkett’s Pest Control has acquired Chess Pest Control, a northwestern Pennsylvania-based pest control company that provides full-service pest control and termite control services to the greater northwestern Pennsylvania area. This acquisition merges two privately-owned pest control companies and expands Plunkett’s service capabilities in Pennsylvania.

Aly Silva-Mulgrew, president of Plunkett’s Pest Control, said, “We are excited to welcome Doug Chess to the Plunkett’s Team, and are looking forward to what we can do together to strengthen our service capabilities in Northwestern Pennsylvania.”

Chess Pest Control owners, Doug Chess and Roger Chess, said, “We choose Plunkett’s because we share the philosophy that our customers come first. We’re both locally owned and operated, and we knew that Plunkett’s would do right by our customers. We are leaving them in good hands.”

Chess Pest Control was started by owners Doug Chess and Roger Chess in 1995. With more than 40 years of pest control knowledge between the two owners, Chess Pest Control is a full-service pest control company that focuses on giving their customers the best experience possible. Roger Chess will be retiring, while Doug Chess will be joining the team at Plunkett’s.
