WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University’s Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management (CUIPM) and the Department of Entomology will host the 89th annual Pest Management Conference from Jan. 13-15 at the Stewart Center on Purdue’s West Lafayette campus. This event gives industry experts a chance to share insights and new solutions, equipping attendees with the knowledge and resources needed to advance the pest control industry.
Organized jointly by the In-House Planning Committee and Industry Planning Committee and supported by industry sponsors, 2025 conference attendees will explore the latest innovations, technologies and environmentally sustainable strategies for effective pest management. With the theme “Moving at the Speed of Technology,” the event also will highlight the transformative role of artificial intelligence in the future of pest management.
“We are excited to host the 89th Pest Management Conference. The long-standing success of the conference reflects the foresight of those responsible for its establishment,” said Catherine Hill, professor and head of the entomology department at Purdue. “It is also due to the tireless contributions of our industry partners, faculty, staff and students who come together each year to offer an unparalleled event.”
While the 2025 Pest Management Conference is open to the public, it offers particularly valuable opportunities for advanced training. Industry professionals can earn Continuing Certification Hours and Continuing Education Unit credits. For pest control professionals, maintaining a valid commercial pesticide applicator certification is crucial, and can be renewed either through retesting or by accumulating CCHs with requirements varying by state. These hours are earned by attending university-, government- and industry-sponsored programs approved by the Office of Indiana State Chemist.
According to Pittendrigh, “We continue to have a lineup of the top speakers in the field, providing those in attendance with the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced people in the field.”
The 2025 conference will feature a dynamic lineup of panel discussions and presentations from leading industry experts.
Ticket prices for the 2025 Pest Management Conference are: full registration, $380; single-day registration, $210 per day; and exhibitor registration, $670. Ticket prices will increase after Dec. 10 to: full registration, $480; single-day registration, $260 per day; and exhibitor registration, $770. To take advantage of the current rates, register here.
