Rentokil Terminix Acquires Terminix Puerto Rico Franchise

The transaction, which was announced by The Potomac Company, expands Rentokil Terminix’s position in the Caribbean.

Terminix Puerto has been acquired by Rentokil Terminix. The transaction, which was announced by The Potomac Company, expands Rentokil Terminix’s position in the Caribbean.

Established in 2004, Terminix Puerto Rico has been providing pest control services across the entire island, with a focus on metro areas such as Carolina, Trujillo Alto, Guaynabo, Cataño, and Bayamon. With headquarters in Carolina, Puerto Rico, the company offers mostly commercial services. Mark Kitchenman, the franchise's owner and operator, has over 35 years of experience in the pest control industry, collaborating closely with his colleagues to enhance the pest control experience for customers in Puerto Rico.

The acquisition brings together the expertise, resources, and innovative solutions of Rentokil and Terminix, enhancing the overall solutions and services offered to customers in Puerto Rico. Rentokil's global reputation for excellence in pest control aligns seamlessly with Terminix’s dedication to customer satisfaction and effective pest management.

Kitchenman said, "I am confident that the acquisition by Rentokil will bring about positive changes for our customers in Puerto Rico. After multiple attempts to sell this business over the years, I engaged The Potomac Company to advise me on the sale and they killed for me and got me way more than Terminix ever offered. Engaging Potomac was the best financial decision I’ve ever made. Since Rentokil Terminix is really the only buyer for a franchise, I had originally thought that using an advisor wouldn’t be worth the cost. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Without Potomac I would have left a huge chunk of money on the table.”
