Steritech Names Musunuru New CIO

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Steritech Group announced that it has appointed Raja Musunuru as Chief Information Officer to oversee the company’s expansive information technology operation.

Musunuru is responsible for the development and implementation of Steritech’s information technology strategy, leveraging business systems, proprietary software and applications, and hardware to deliver on the needs of Steritech’s clients and business operations. In addition, as CIO, he will serve on Steritech’s Leadership Team, a group of key executives that steers the company’s direction.

Recognized in May 2013 as a rising vanguard in the field on CIO Magazine’s prestigious “Ones to Watch” list, Musunuru has a broad range of expertise, including technology strategy, organizational design, business process optimization, continuous improvement, and analytics-driven innovation.

Prior to joining Steritech in March, Musunuru served as Interim Chief Information Officer at Gaylord Entertainment. Among his many achievements at Gaylord were the development and integration of cloud-based, mobile, and on-premise solutions for a variety of functional groups and clients. Prior to that, he spent five years at Sony Pictures Entertainment in a variety of leadership roles, culminating his work there as Director, Business Intelligence Center of Excellence.

Musunuru has a Master of Science degree in electronics and communication engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology in India. He completed his undergraduate work in the same field at Nagarjuna University.
