Syngenta Presented Annual Donation to Pi Chi Omega

Syngenta presented its annual scholarship donation to Pi Chi Omega of $4,500 to bolster Pi Chi Omega's efforts in providing crucial scholarship funds and research support to students pursuing studies in urban entomology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.


FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - During NPMA Legislative Day last month, Syngenta presented its annual scholarship donation to Pi Chi Omega. Immediate Past President Cassie Krejci accepted the $4,500 donation from Berry Cothern, Syngenta's representative.

This significant donation serves to bolster Pi Chi Omega's efforts in providing crucial scholarship funds and research support to students pursuing studies in urban entomology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Over nearly five decades, Pi Chi Omega's scholarship initiatives have funded the studies of numerous entomology students, resulting in 149 individuals whose scientific research and commitment to our industry have significantly influenced pest management practices. Many recipients have gone on to become esteemed members of the structural pest management industry.

Pi Chi Omega’s scholarship program allocates five $2,000 scholarships and one $3,000 scholarship annually to deserving entomology students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at universities.
