This is the 28th consecutive year that PCT and BASF have recognized standout service professionals in the residential, commercial and termite categories.
Joseph Schuh, head of technical service, BASF Professional & Specialty Solutions, said, “Day in and day out, Marvin, Matt and Tom display unmatched customer service skills, work ethic and technical abilities. They set the standard — not just for pest control companies, but other sectors as well — for what it means to provide standout service.”
Brad Harbison, senior news editor, PCT, added, “Matt, Tom and Marvin work every day to protect food, health and property. These three individuals are leaders in their companies and communities, and we couldn’t be prouder to shine the spotlight on them.”
PCT's Residential Technician of the Year, Matt Hall, has transferred many of his EMS skills to become a standout service professional at Rottler Pest Solutions, Chesterfield, Mo. Much like an EMS worker, Hall investigates, asks questions and gets to the source of a problem. He prides himself on seeking out structural issues, landscaping and other factors to find non-pesticide solutions whenever possible. Hall also does his best to learn his customers’ patterns and schedule service times that work best for them.
A technician with “the perfect personality and temperament for dealing with commercial customers” is how co-workers describe Tom Kuligoski, Rose Pest Solutions, Saginaw, Mich., PCT's Commercial Technician of the Year. His ability to build and nurture relationships has helped him gain client cooperation and partnership. Kuligoski services large, audited accounts, where his consistent service and meticulous record-keeping have been crucial to his and Rose Pest Solutions’ success.
Marvin Dalton, PCT's Termite Technician of the Year, has become a leader at Accel Pest & Termite Control, Virginia Beach, Va., since joining the company in 2017. A former mason, Dalton’s construction knowledge and people skills have made him a standout termite technician. As a termite technician in the Virginia Beach market, Dalton also does crawlspace work, and installs vapor barriers, custom crawl doors and vents, in addition to his termite work.
