Don’t let freeze damage ruin your equipment and your day. Protect your equipment. Take a little time for preventative action. It will save you time, money and cancelled appointments.
Here are 10 tips to prevent freeze damage to your pest control equipment:
- If possible, store equipment in a heated space.
- Drain Water from Sprayers.
- Release the pressure.
- On your power sprayers, open all valves
- If you can’t completely drain sprayers, remove at risk components, e.g., spray guns, filters, pumps, etc.
- Put a heated blanket or cable over critical components.
- If you can’t remove at risk components, run a little RV anti-freeze through the system.
- Remove batteries and store inside.
- NEVER run frozen equipment. Let it thaw out.
