MEMPHIS – Terminix has acquired northern California pest control firm A-Pro Pest Control. The deal closed on Nov. 14 (terms not disclosed) and was announced by Kemp Anderson Consulting, which served as the advisor for A-Pro Pest Control.
A-Pro Pest Control was founded in 1985 by Charles (Chuck) H. Payton and William (Bill) T. Cress. Chuck Payton and Bill Cress met during high school, in the summer of 1975 while playing Mission City Football. In 1985 with a family loan of $3,300, a loaned truck and spray rig, A-PRO Pest Control was born.
Today, A-Pro services many of the largest, most iconic brands in Silicon Valley and in the world, specializing in low-impact pest control solutions. The company has one branch, located in Campbell, Calif., that serves as the hub for all Bay Area accounts, and currently employs 23.
