Truly Nolen Announces Managerial Promotions

Promotions include Josef Devaty to manager of the Truly Nolen's Houston, Texas, service office, Aaron Bird to manager of the company’s Dallas, Texas, office and Dave Schrock to manager of the company’s Fort Worth, Texas, office.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Josef Devaty to manager of the company’s Houston, Texas, service office, Aaron Bird to manager of the company’s Dallas, Texas, office and Dave Schrock to manager of the company’s Fort Worth, Texas, office.

Devaty joined Truly Nolen in 2021 and was most recently in the company’s manager-in-training program. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, spent nearly 20 years in retail with Hot Topic which included time as a district manager overseeing stores in California, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi. He holds bachelor's degrees in history and sociology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and also served in the Air Force in Las Vegas as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist.
 

Some of Devaty’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local Houston community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.

“Josef’s unique background and experience as a manager made him the perfect fit for our Houston service office,” said Mark Perazzo, area manager, North, East and Central Texas. “His passion to find strong partnerships and be engaged with the local community is something he excels in, and I look forward to seeing where he leads his team into the future.”

Bird joined Truly Nolen in 2018 and was previously a territory specialist in Fort Worth, Texas, and subsequently participated in the company’s manager-in-training program. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, he spent 16 years in pest control in California with Clark Pest Control, where he handled residential, commercial, lawn, and termite services. Bird passed the Associate Certified Entomologist program in 2015.

“I am excited about the opportunity to help grow our market in Dallas as well as supporting my partners in their sales and service efforts,” said Bird. “My favorite thing about working for our company is our culture and the people I get to work with every day.”

Schrock joined Truly Nolen in 2010 and was previously a termite technician, pest control technician and service manager before participating in the company’s manager-in-training program. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, he spent a year at another pest control company, and worked in the food industry for 18 years in California for Wonder Bread as a route technician.

“As Service Manager the last four years, Dave helped train most of the new partners throughout Dallas and Fort Worth, and his attention to detail and ability to train others helped make him an easy choice for this position,” said Perazzo. “I am so glad he is a member of our team and I look forward to his continued success.”
