TUCSON, Ariz. – Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotions of Kim Socia to senior franchise coordinator, and John Harvey to Florida commercial sales manager.
Socia joined the company in September 1999 as a part-time administrative assistant for the Domestic Franchise Division. After six months, she started assisting three Tucson service offices and went full-time in December 2001. Following multiple positions over the next decade within the company, in August 2011, she re-joined franchising as the franchise administrator.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with franchise owners on a different level than I have previously," said Socia. "I really enjoy the long-term planning and strategic elements of business development and I look forward to helping our franchise owners plan, scale and grow their businesses."
Prior to joining Truly Nolen, Socia was a full-time student at the University of Arizona, where she earned a bachelor's degree in public administration in December 2001. She also earned a master's degree in administration with a human resource management focus from the University of Phoenix in January 2006.
“Kim brings a wealth of expertise to her new role and she has put in all the hard work and effort to ensure her success in her continued efforts to provide unsurpassed support to our current ownership and all of our future owners.,” said Lance Washington, director of domestic franchising and acquisitions. “In her new position, Kim will take a lead role in franchise strategy, management, marketing and sales. Harvey first joined the company in 2021 as commercial regional account manager. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, he was a branch manager and service operations manager for another pest control company. He has 22 years of pest and sanitation industry experience and more than 35 years in Business-to-Business sales.
“I am excited to expand my role in commercial sales management. I am very passionate about helping, training and developing others,” said Harvey. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen are our people and being able to contribute to a company that affords its employees the opportunities to grow in their roles and aspire to new heights in their careers.”
Harvey has an associates, bachelor and master's degree and holds certifications in entomology from Purdue University and Texas A&M University.
“John has shown to be a tremendous asset in the development of all salespeople when it comes to selling our commercial services," said Chris Maher, vice president, commercial & operational logistics. "He has established a sales training course as well as a being a component in our management training course."
