TUCSON, Ariz.  – Truly Nolen Pest Control recently opened two franchises in Gainesville and Ocala, Fla. The Gainesville office is owned by Aaron and Stacie Pratt, and the Ocala office is owned by Jonathan and Corinth Parker.

On Wed., March 5, the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce hosted the Pratts and members of the Truly Nolen Franchise Division at the Chamber Office for an official ribbon cutting welcoming them to the neighborhood.

With this opening, Florida now has six Truly Nolen franchises, joining Jacksonville, Tallahassee, The Villages, Daytona Beach, and Ocala, Fla.

Pratt recently finished 26 years of work with Truly Nolen in Southwest Florida as a pest control technician. However, it was a decision he made with his wife, who spent 27 years in the medical industry, that led them on a path to Gainesville.

“We wanted to move to Gainesville to be closer to family, and I really wanted to continue working in the pest control industry,” said Pratt. “We realized that by opening a franchise, I could continue bringing the same quality of service to a new community.”

In their spare time, the Pratts enjoy fishing and riding motorcycles together.

Lance Washington, Truly Nolen Director of Domestic Franchising, said unlike most franchisees, he already had a working relationship with Aaron Pratt when the Pratts first inquired about buying a franchise. “I was once Aaron’s manager at our corporate service in Fort Myers, and he was a terrific team member who did a great job solving his customer’s pest problems,” said Washington. “Their desire to remain part of Truly Nolen as franchisees should help them in an active Gainesville community and throughout Alachua County in the years to come.”

Lance Washington, Truly Nolen Director of Domestic Franchising, said the couple went through training recently at the company’s East Coast Operations Center in Orlando and is pleased to have them as part of the company’s family. “Jonathan and Corinth were terrific to work with during training, and the two of them are a great team,” said Washington. “Their desire to become active members of the Ocala community and throughout Marion County should help them in the years to come.”
