TUCSON, Ariz. – Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Damon Evans to area manager in California and Nevada, and Robert Bucher to manager of the company’s San Diego, Calif., service office.
Evans joined Truly Nolen in February 2016 and was most recently the manager of the company’s Palm Desert office. Prior to joining the company, he worked for Riverside County Pest Control in sales and as a termite technician and has nearly 25 years of experience in the pest control industry. Evans did study entomology for one year at Texas A&M, further showing insects have always been a passion of his.
Some of Evans’ new responsibilities will include district authority overseeing the company’s service offices in San Diego, San Marcos, Palm Desert, Orange and Las Vegas.
“I am most excited about working with a broader spectrum of people in leadership as well as leading my team to a hopefully more successful path to their own success and personal growth,” said Evans. “My favorite thing about Truly Nolen is that while you drive your own train towards your career path, you have many people that will assist you step-by-step and motivate you to reach your desired destination.”
“Damon has consistently embodied our company’s core values while showing a commitment to personal growth, professional development, and fostering a positive team environment,” said Justin Bellet, Chief Operating Officer, Truly Nolen. “All of these attributes along with his previous success as Palm Desert Manager made him an easy choice for his new position, and I look forward to his continued success.”
Bucher joined Truly Nolen in February 2024 as a manager-in-training. Prior to joining the company, he had been a district manager for a Car Wash for eight years.
Some of Bucher’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office continue to maintain visibility with the local San Diego community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.
“Robert’s prior management experience plus his attention to detail and desire to help make everyone around him better made him an easy choice for his new position,” said Damon Evans, Area Manager, California & Nevada. “I know he is definitely up for the next challenge, and I am glad he is part of my team.”
