JACKSONVILLE, Fla - Turner Pest Control, a division of Anticimex, announced Cheri Michaels has been promoted to president. Michaels has been acting as interim platform president for the past three months in addition to her role as vice president of sales.
Michaels brings extensive experience and knowledge to this position. As a transformational leader, some of her major achievements include managing the rollout of the company’s innovative residential SMART digital pest control program, the integration of 13 sales teams through mergers and acquisitions and increased the ability to expand services with the creation of our inside sales department.
According to Anticimex North American COO Bill Talon, “We are pleased to welcome Cheri as the platform president of Turner Pest Control. Cheri is an enthusiastic and engaging leader that is well-respected by her team. I am confident her expertise will further drive the transformational growth Turner continues to experience.”
A major initiative for Anticimex is sustainability which is also one of her passions. Recently she received her Business Sustainability Leadership Certification from University of Cambridge. Collaborating with the Florida Professional Women in Pest Management, she hosted a webinar to raise awareness of the importance of creating sustainability leadership champions within organizations.
Prior to joining the company, Michaels’ career included more than 25 years of business operations and leadership experience, including Comcast’s regional manager of commercial development as well as franchise owner and operator for Sign A Rama.
Michaels says she owes her success to influential leaders throughout her career and following her passion to lead others to perform beyond their potential, “I am dedicated to inspiring my employees to grow both personally and professionally. I look forward to leading my team and taking Turner to the next level of success.”
