UC Survey Asks PMPs What Are Their Biggest Bed Bug Concerns

University of California urban entomologists have launched an electronic survey to gather information from PMPs about what they are doing to manage bed bugs, and to determine what kind of bed bug research is needed.


Editor's note: University of California urban entomologists have launched an electronic survey to gather information from PMPs about what they are doing to manage bed bugs, and to determine what kind of bed bug research is needed. PMPs are encouraged to take the survey which will provide UC entomologists with information that will benefit the pest control industry and help researchers for years to come.

Quantifying the impact of bed bug infestations in the western United States

Description: Development and delivery of this survey have been sponsored by the USDA, via the Western IPM Center, to determine the baseline level data with regards to bed bug management strategies, tactics, challenges, and research needs in the western United States. Your participation will help inform the research and extension programs of applied academics and researchers at several land-grant universities in the west for years to come. Participation in this needs assessment study is entirely voluntary, and your responses will be protected as completely anonymous.
