NATICK, Mass. – Waltham Pest Services announced it has recently launched a Green Home Care Plan - an extension of their current Home Care Plan with an emphasis on eco-friendly solutions.
The new service focuses on Integrated Pest Management solutions, which Waltham Pest Services has been practicing for years. They have consistently used their knowledge of pest biology to prevent pests from getting into their customer's homes. This new program takes it a step further by utilizing the better, more effective green products that are now available on the market.
Chris Weppert, Region Manager, said that at a time when the protection of the environment is of critical importance, it was time to find a more sustainable way to treat for pests. “The Green Home Care Plan allows us to utilize specialized skills and training to provide pest protection in a sustainable way that removes the worry about the effect on children, pets, water supplies, and all other environmental concerns."
There’s more to the plan than green products, though. Hope Bowman, board certified entomologist at Waltham Pest Services noted that the number of treatments will go from three times a year to four so they can ensure the green products will keep working throughout the year. More importantly, she noted that, “our customers will be getting our most experienced technicians who have gone through the rigorous GreenPro certification offered through the National Pest Management Association. They have also been trained to use all the green methods available to tackle any pests that may be causing our homeowners issues.”
