BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Birmingham-based Waynes Pest Control announced it has doubled its strategic position in the Tuscaloosa market with the acquisition of Wilson Pest Control headquartered in Northport, Ala.
Eric Frye, president of Waynes, said, “The Tuscaloosa market remains an important strategic focus for Waynes as we strengthen our market share position in West Alabama. We are proud to carry on the tradition of World Class Service that Wilson and Bonnie Gammill, their daughter Jenny Hughes, and the entire Wilson Pest Team have delivered for decades in the Tuscaloosa market and surrounding communities.”
Commenting on the transaction, Wilson Gammill, owner of Wilson’s Pest Control added, “It’s a bit overwhelming when you hand over your life’s work to another. While today is a day of mixed emotions, I am very confident that the legacy of Wilson’s Pest is in very good hands. Eric and the entire Team at Waynes share the same core values of Integrity, Perseverance, Courage and Character that we have tried our best to exhibit over these many years. I know our customers will continue to receive the same level of excellence under the new ownership.”
