SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Wil-Kil Pest Control announced three of its pest control associates earned the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certificate from the Entomological Society of America (ESA).
Service Manager Jeff Daane and regional manager Terry Witter at the Sun Prairie location, as well as regional manager Norm Shonkwiler at the Appleton location received this distinguished certification, which is endorsed by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).
“We are thrilled for Jeff, Terry and Norm as they become the newest ACE certified pest management professionals,” said Shane McCoy, director of quality and technical training at Wil-Kil Pest Control. “This designation is very important in our industry and showcases their vast pest management experience and knowledge as well as their commitment to our clients.”
The ACE certificate is available for pest control professionals with a minimum of five years of professional field experience in structural pest management and a current U.S. pesticide applicator’s license. Applicants must also pass a rigorous exam on structural pest control knowledge, including inspection and identification, monitoring, selection and implementation of control methods and evaluation, as well as provide two letters of professional recommendation.
