Target Specialty Products has launched Strike Max Glo, an LED insect light trap.
Strike Max Glo is designed for front-of-house and back-of-house locations. Target Specialty Products says that with a discreet, adaptable design, Strike Max Glo blends in well with a full range of indoor settings. The device uses an 11-watt LED bulb to attract pests, and the glueboard captures insect fragments, preventing contamination.
“Strike Max Glo is truly a unique product in the market,” said David Helt, president of Target Specialty Products. “We are pleased to introduce this highly effective, attractive and efficient product to our pest management customers. Strike Max Glo gives our customers a differentiated value offering to their customers.”
Mark Jull, Target Specialty Products’ proprietary products manager, said, “Strike Max Glo has been heavily tested to provide a very rapid catch rate on flying insects. Beyond the efficacy, the elegantly designed device includes an LED lamp that lasts three years, adaptive light settings and energy-saving features.”
MGK
MGK announced a new bottle design that makes its CrossFire Bed Bug Concentrate product even better, the company says. MGK says the redesigned bottle features two key updates for PMPs:
- 1) New handle placement provides better ergonomics, easier measuring and pouring, and reduced likelihood of spills.
2) New, convenient 13-ounce measuring chamber that saves PMPs time with a single pour, improves accuracy and enhances ease-of-use.
“Consistent with MGK’s core value of continuous improvement in everything we do, we recognized an opportunity to create a better user experience with the 13-ounce bottle,” said Brian Krelitz, senior marketing manager. “CrossFire’s new bottle makes bed bug control easier than ever.”
CrossFire, introduced in 2016, has multiple modes of action that target all bed bug life stages and is scientifically formulated to kill pyrethroid-resistant strains, the manufacturer reports.
Spotta
Spotta Smart Pest Systems announced three new distributor agreements: Pest-End Exterminators and Colorado Tri-Flo Systems in the United States and Amicus Environmental Services in the United Kingdom.
Spotta says each of the new partnerships will center on the company’s monitoring solution for the accommodation sector, which detects bed bugs in hotels, motels, hostels, student residences and other multi-room hospitality businesses. The resellers also will assist customers in their region with installation and servicing, training and ongoing customer support.
Pest-End will incorporate Spotta as part of its integrated pest management solution. The provider works with residential and commercial properties in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
Colorado Tri-Flo will offer Spotta’s always-on monitoring technology alongside its own industrial heaters for treating pests.
Amicus Environmental Services plans to use Spotta’s technology as part of its focus on delivering technology-driven solutions to the pest control market.
Robert Fryers, CEO of Spotta, said, “Each partner company shares our belief that technology can help the pest control industry work in a more proactive way. Monitoring leads to early detection, and early detection of pests leads to more effective treatment and the opportunity to reduce pesticide use.
“Whether it’s the pairing of our monitoring system with Colorado Tri-Flo’s heat treatments, the support of industry-leader Pest-End or the forward-thinking of Amicus, each partner enhances our offering.”
