FAIRFAX, Va. – The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has announced the keynote speakers headlining the 2024 Legislative Day program, taking place March 10 to12 in Washington, D.C.

In addition to this lineup of keynote speakers, the Legislative Day program features panel presentations and sessions covering the latest policy issues, industry data and challenges facing the pest management industry, along with the opportunity for attendees to meet with Congressional leaders and staffers from their state during visits to the Hill.
This year, attendees are encouraged to come out a day early on Sat., March 9 to Washington, D.C for the NPMA Board of Directors meeting, followed by an Open House at NPMA’s Headquarters in Fairfax, Va.
On Monday, March 11, two distinguished and seasoned political analysts in America step into the spotlight to provide profound insights into the dynamic and constantly evolving landscape of U.S. politics. Mo Elleithee is a leading voice in the effort to tackle political polarization and promoting more productive political dialogue. Prior to assuming the role of founding executive director at the Institute of Politics and Public Service, Elleithee was the communications director for the Democratic National Committee during the Obama Administration. Chris Stirewalt is one of today’s liveliest political commentators, he is highly regarded for his candid and straightforward analysis of our current political climate as the political editor for NewsNation, America’s fastest growing cable news channel.
Monday’s afternoon program also features Lindsay Chervinsky, a presidential historian with unparalleled expertise on presidential administrations, the cabinet, and U.S. government institutions. She writes columns regularly for Washington Monthly and Governing, and regularly provides historical context to journalists on current events at publications including The Washington Post, Associated Press, New York Times, and Fast Company. A familiar face on TV, Chervinsky has appeared on PBS’s “The Open Mind,” Fox News Nashville, Cheddar TV, CNN, and the History Channel, among other networks. Her upcoming book, An Honest Man: The Inimitable Presidency of John Adams, is set to be published by Oxford University Press in 2024.
On Tues., March 12, attendees will start their morning with Matt Lewis, Senior Columnist for the Daily Beast, author of Filthy Rich Politicians and Too Dumb to Fail: How the GOP Betrayed the Reagan Revolution to Win Elections (and How It Can Reclaim Its Conservative Roots). Named one of the “40 Best Conservative Columnists” by RightWingNews each year since 2013, he has been acknowledged as the 2012 “CPAC Blogger of the Year” by The American Conservative Union and one of the 50 “Pundits You Need to Pay Attention to Between Now and The Election” in 2011 by Business Insider.
