FAIRFAX, Va. — The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) announced NPMAWorkforce.org, a newly launched website providing pest control companies with resources in their search for skilled, qualified candidates.
Fifty percent of the existing workforce is set to retire in the next decade, creating a huge demand for skilled workers in trade professions, such as pest control. As an essential piece of NPMA’s Workforce Development Program, this new website will serve as the central hub for pest control companies seeking guidance on recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining top talent.
“The pest control industry is experiencing a period of incredible growth, and there has never been a better time to advocate for and build upon our own workforce,” said Dominique Stumpf, NPMA CEO. “Thanks to the valued support of our Founders, Patrons and Supplier Club members, we are able to push this program forward and create valuable resources that will assist our members in attracting and maintaining quality employees.”
All NPMA members can access the newly built Workforce Toolkit at NPMAWorkforce.org using their member credentials. Within the Toolkit, pest control companies will be able to easily download a variety of assets including sample job descriptions, customizable recruitment brochures, website badges, and more. Pest control companies who are members of the association located in the U.S. and Canada also receive a complimentary 60-day job posting on the industry-exclusive job board at Careers.PestControlJobs.com.
Members who pledge their support at the Founders Club, Patrons Club, or Suppliers Club levels receive increased benefits including additional complimentary job posting packages, exclusive recruitment resources, special recognition at NPMA events, and more.
